Joy Fold Wedding Card using Pressed Petals

Hi Everyone,

Today I posted a picture of this card on my Facebook Business Page just as an example of what could be done with this fold and these papers.  Someone asked me about a blog or a video to show them how to make it, so I've done both.  The card in the video is using different colours and dsp and you can check out the video on my You Tube channel at:

Materials

1 piece card stock 4 1/4" x 9 3/8", score at 6 1/4"
1 piece card stock 3 1/4" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4"
Scrap of matching card stock for the flower
1 piece whisper white card stock 3" x 4"
Scrap of whisper white and the base card colour for the sentiment
1st dsp - 1 x 4" x 6", 2 x 4" x 2 7/8"
2nd dsp - 2 x 4" x 3"
Ink to match
Floral Essence stamp set
Vellum
Perennial Flower Punch
Leaf Punch
Stitched rectangle dies
Die cutting machine
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Faceted gems

Instructions

Fold and burnish both pieces of card stock.

Adhere the pieces of dsp to the larger base card and then adhere the smaller pieces of dsp to the smaller card front and back of the right hand side.

Stamp a sentiment and the flowers on the whisper white card stock and then adhere this to the remaining left hand side of the smaller card.

Put some glue on the back of the smaller card and then line it up so that it slides inside the flap of the larger card and sits centrally as you look down on the card.

Stamp a sentiment on the scrap of whisper white and die cut with a stitched rectangle die. Adhere to the centre front with dimensionals.

Stamp out two images of the three petal flower and then punch them out.  Curl the petals with a bone folder to given them a bit of dimension and glue the two together to make a flower.  Punch out two sets of leaves from the vellum and then stick these to the back of the flower on the dimensional and then stick the flower to the front of the card.

Hope you will give this one a try.

Happy crafting
