Delicate Baubles Whimsy & Wonder Christmas Card - Stamp N Hop Blog Hop

Hi Everyone,

Today I am hopping with the Stamp N Hop group and we are doing 'Christmas'. I'm using up my last scraps of this beautiful Whimsy & Wonder designer series paper and have teamed it with a polished pink delicate bauble, I think it's really pretty. Let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of polished pink card stck 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scraps for the die cut and sentiment layer

1 piece of basic white card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", scraps for the die cut and sentiment

1 piece of silver foil 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

1 piece of dsp 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"

Polished pink ink

Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Delicate Baubles dies

Poinsettia Petals stamp set

Basic rhinestones

Trimmer

Simply scored

Bone folder

Multipurpose adhesive

Dimensionals

Instructions

On the long side score the polished pink at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Stamp a sentiment on the large piece of basic white and adhere to the inside of the card. Stamp a sentiment for the front on a strip of basic white and trim around it.

Adhere the silver foil and the dsp layer to the card front.

Die cut a solid bauble in basic white and an intricate one in polished pink, also die cut the bow. Push all the pieces out of the pink die cut and carefully adhere to the solid white one. Adhere the bow to the top and trim off the excess string. Adhere the bauble to the top centre of the card front.

Adhere the sentiment to a strip of polished pink card and trim around leaving a very small border of the pink showing. Add to the card front with dimensionals underneath the bauble. Add some rhinestones for added bling.

This is a very simple card to make that looks really effective.

Whimsy & Wonder Centre Panel Detailed Bauble Card

Hi Everyone,

Today I am hopping with the lovely Touches of Ink group and the theme is 'Christmas/Winter'. I needed some quick and easy Christmas cards and wanted to use up my supply of Whimsy & Wonder dsp so I made a really simple panel card and added one of the gorgeous detailed baubles. Let me show you what I did.

Materials

1 piece of thick white card 5 7/8" x 11"

1 piece of dsp 3 7/8" x 5 3/4", 4 pieces 1 5/8" x 5 3/4"

Scraps of mint macaron and silver foil card for the bauble

Scrap of glittered organdy ribbon

Mini glue dots

Multipurpose adhesive

Dimensionals

Trimmer

Simply Scored

Bone Folder

Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine

Detailed Bauble dies

Instructions

On the long side score the thick white card at 1 3/4" and 3 1/2" and then flip the card round to the other side and repeat the scores at 1 3/4" and 3 1/2", fold and burnish to score lines to make the card base.

Add the dsp layers to the card base.

Die cut a solid bauble from the mint macaron and then one of the detailed baubles from the silver foil and layer them up together.

Add dimensionals to the back of the bauble and add to the centre panel.

Tie a bow with the organdy ribbon and add to the top of the bauble with some mini glue dots.

This is another quick and easy fun fold card showing off several different patterns of dsp, I hope that you like it.

Gift Card Holders/Money Wallets

Hi Everyone,

Today I am making gift card holders/money wallets using up scraps of dsp. We always have lots of scraps and retired designer series papers lying about, so lets use them up. I have also used retired stamp sets and the bow punch, but you can use anything you have. Let me show you how I made them.

Materials

1 piece of card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"

2 pieces of dsp 2 7/8" x 5 5/8"

1 piece of dsp 1" x 5 5/8"

1 piece of dsp 3/4" x 5 5/8"

1 piece of basic white 2 7/8" x 5 5/8"

Scraps of basic white for sentiment and bow

Matching ink

Stamp set of choice

Punch of choice

Velcro dots (optional)

Trimmer

Simply scored

Bone folder

Multipurpose adhesive

Dimensionals

Tear and tape

Instructions

On the long side score the card stock at 1" and 4 1/8", fold and burnish to make the base.

Adhere the 1" strip of dsp to the right hand edge of the inside of the card. Stamp a sentiment on the large piece of basic white and adhere next to the 1" strip of dsp.

Add one of the 2 7/8" wide strips of dsp next to the fold on the underside of the front, then add tear and tape along the two edges of the thin fold and fold to the inside to form the pocket. Add the 3/4" strip of dsp on the front of the pocket.

Add the remaining dsp to the card front.

Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of basic white and cut around it on a diaginal (see picture). Stamp a bow (or you could use a Christmas Tree of a label, anything that you like) and punch it out. Add the sentiment on dimensionals to the card front and then add glue to one side of the bow and adhere to the card front so it overlaps the edge as shown. You can secure the other half of the bow with a velcro dot if you want to, on some of these I have done and some I haven't.

Job done, quick and simple gift card holders/money wallets for you to gift at Christmas.
