Hi Everyone,
Welcome to the blog post which goes along with this month's Stamp Around UK Video Hop. The theme this month is 'Texture' and boy did it have me scratching my head but this card is what I finally card up with. It used textured look dsp, embossed card, two step stamping, plain card, foil card and some textured trim so I hope you think it fits the brief.
Materials
1 piece of misty moonlight card 5 7/8" x 11 1/2", 1 piece 5" square
1 piece of dsp (In Good Taste) 5 1/2" square
1 piece of basic white 5 1/2" square and scraps for stamping
Scrap of silver foil
Misty moonlight ink
Balmy blue ink
Pear pizzazz ink
Art Gallery stamp set
Floral Art dies
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Trimmer
Bark 3D embossing folder
Basic rhinestones
Silver elegant trim
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Mini glue dots
Instructions
On the long side score the misty moonlight at 5 3/4" and fold and burnish to make the card base.
Adhere the textured dsp to the card front.
Emboss the misty moonlight card and add to the card front.
Stamp the flower on the large piece of basic white for the inside and on the scrap for die cutting. Use balmy blue first and then stamp the second stamp over the top in misty moonlight. Adhere the large piece on the inside of the card and die cut the flower and leaves and then arrange them on the front with dimensionals.
Die cut the words in silver foil and adhere them to the front of the card. (After the video, I added a rhinestone over the 'j'). Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of white and use the larger label die to cut it out and then add to the card front.
Cut two piece of trim and make a small double bow and add to the flower with a glue dot.
