Hi Everyone,
Today I am hopping with the Stamping With Friends group for the first time and the theme is 'Slimline' cards, not a size I make very often but I really like how this one turned out. Let me show you how I made it.
Materials
1 piece of bermuda bay card stock 8 1/4" x 8"
2 pieces of basic white card 8" x 3 3/4"
Scraps of bermuda bay and white for the sentiment
Bermuda bay ink
Forever Blossoms stamp set
Gray granite ribbon
Basic rhinestones
Double oval punch
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Mini dimensionals
Mini glue dots
Instructions
On the 8" side score the bermuda bay card at 4" and fold and burnish to make the landscape card base.
Stamp the large blossom sprig in a random design on one of the pieces of basic white card for the card front. On the other piece, stamp a sentiment in the centre and just the top of the sprig at the top right and bottom left (see picture),
adhere inside the card. Stamp the sentiment for the front on a scrap of white card and punch out with the smaller of the two ovals. Punch out the scalloped oval using bermuda bay card.

Wrap a piece of ribbon around the layer for the front of the card, towards the bottom and fix on the back with some sticky tape to keep in place, then adhere this layer to the card front.
Make a small bow with another piece of ribbon and fix to the card front on top of the ribbon band with a glue dot. Add the sentiment to the larger oval and fix on the card front with mini dimensionals in the centre of the card, over the ribbon band.
Add a sprinkling of rhinestones to the sentiment and the blossoms and the card is complete. I hope that you like it. Please click on the links below to see what the next contributor has made, I am sure that you will be inspired.
