Woven Threads Bath Bomb Gift Bag

Hi Everyone,

Today I am bringing you a cute little bag using the beautiful woven threads dsp, the 2019 in-colours and the in-colour linen ribbon.  The bag holds just one small bath bomb, ideal for craft fairs and stocking fillers.

There is a YouTube tutorial over on my channel at https://youtu.be/Wc95iLKPjeo

Materials

1 piece designer series paper 8 1/2" x 6"
scraps of whisper white and matching card stock for sentiment
scrap of ribbon
multipurpose adhesive
1 3/8" scalloped punch
1 3/4" scalloped punch
Detailed trio punch
Beauty Abounds stamp set
Matching ink
Clear block
Scoreboard
Bone Folder
Paper snips
Glue dots
dimensionals

Instructions

Score the dsp on the long side at 2", 4", 6" and 8", then rotate 90 degrees and score on the short side at 1 3/4" and 5".

Fold and burnish all the score lines, lightly, remember its dsp not card stock.

Cut up the score lines on the squares at the bottom up to the first score line and remove the skinny rectangle at the end and notch the middle section to make the tab.

Cut down from the top to the first score line and remove the skinny rectangle at the end.  The section next to this will form the lid so leave this one and then remove the other three.

Round the corners on the remaining flap, this will make a nice finish on the front of the bag.

Put adhesive on the tab and make the box. Then fold in the bottom side panels adding adhesive to the layers, then fold in the back one and then finally the front one, this then forms the base of the box.

Push in on the sides of the bag and bring the flap over the top of the bag to form the closure.

Stamp a sentiment on the whisper white and then punch out with the smaller scalloped punch.  Punch out the larger shape and adhere one to the other.  Add dimensionals to the lower 1/3 of the scalloped circle and adhere to the front of the bag so that the folded over flap at the top will tuck behind it and stay in place.  Cute two small pieces of ribbon and adhere together to make the tails of a bow and stick these to the bag, just underneath the scalloped circle.

There you go, quick and simple bag that will hold a single bath bomb or any other small treats.  Hope you will give it a try.

Happy crafting,

Karen XX
