Petal Palette Triple Layer Card

Hi everyone,

Today I have a very simple technique for you which looks very effective. It takes minimal materials and can be done in many different combinations by just changing up the colours and the stamp sets. It will give you an endless number of ideas for cards that will all be completely different.

Give it a try its easy.

Happy stamping.

Materials

1  piece of very vanilla cardstock 11 3/4" x 6" scored at 5 7/8"
1  piece of very vanilla cardstock 4 3/8" square
1 piece of very vanilla cardstock 3 7/8" square and
1 piece of very vanilla cardstock 2 3/8" square

1 piece of crumb cake cardstock 5 1/4" square
1 piece of crumb cake cardstock 4" square
1 piece of crumb cake cardstock  2 1/2" square

Petal Palette stamp set

Blushing Bride ink pad
Crumb cake ink pad
Glue
Snail adhesive

Instructions

1. Cut all pieces of cardstock and score and fold the piece for the card base.

2.  Take the two larger pieces of very vanilla cardstock and centre them on the front of the card base attaching them lightly with a little dab of snail (or washi tape).

3. Choose which stamps you are going to use, I chose the little bird and a branch of flowers as well as a single larger flower. Stamp them randomly over the card layers taking care when stamping on the edges of the layers that they don't move.

4. Carefully peel them apart and attache each stamped layer to its corresponding crumb cake layer and then adhere them all to the card front.

5. Stamp a sentiment on the remaining piece of very vanilla and mount on the remaining piece of crumb cake, then adhere to the front of the card, in the centre.

6. Stamp a few images on the inside of the card and finish with another sentiment if you like.

SIMPLE - Give it a go
