Today I am making a cute pop out 6 x 6 card featuring the fun new Birthday Bonanza Suite from Stampin'Up! This is Project No 11 of the #31dayscraftchallenge.
Materials
1 piece of 6" x 12" card stock in grapefruit grove
1 piece of 2" x 12" card stock in grapefruit grove
1 piece of 4" square card stock in bermuda bay
4 pieces of silver foil 2 3/4" x 3 1/4"
1 piece of silver foil 5 7/8" square and scraps for the images and the sentiment
4 pieces of bermuda bay card stock 2 1/2" x 3"
Scraps of bermuda bay for the images and the sentiment
Scraps of whisper white to stamp images
3 pieces of dsp 5 3/4" square
Bonanza Buddies stamp set
Assorted pompoms
Bonanza dies
Die cutting machine
2" circle punch
Starburst punch
Ink pads - terracotta tile, daffodil delight, bermuda bay, grapefruit grove, grey granite, memento black
Clear blocks
Multipurpose adhesive
Instructions
Score the 6" x 12" piece of card stock on the long side at 6" and fold in half to make the card base.
Score the 2" x 12" piece of card stock on the long side at 3", 6", 9" and fold so that it makes a W shape.
Adhere the dsp layers to inside of the card, leaving a small border all the way around the edge. Then adhere the silver foil mat and the dsp layer to the front of the card.
Put a thin bead of glue along one short edge of the W strip and adhere to the centre of the left hand edge of the inside of the card. Fold the rest of the strip on top of that and then put a bead of glue on the other side and close the card and press down until the glue sticks. The W shaped strip will now be attached across the centre of the card.
Decide which of the buddies you want to use on your card and stamp them on the whisper white scraps and then die cut them as required. If you don't want to stamp the images, you could die cut the buddies from the dsp instead. Arrange the buddies on 3 of the pieces of bermuda bay, I've added hats with pompoms and a balloon to mine and then adhere to the silver foil layers.
Stamp a sentiment to the remaining bermuda bay piece of card and then adhere that to the silver foil to match the buddies. Add the adhesive to the W strip of card and then arrange the buddies and the sentiment as you like.
Stamp or die cut two of the buddies and add to the 2" circles and stamp out a sentiment on the other 2" circle. Adhere all three circles to three starburst punch outs in silver foil and arrange on the front of the card.
