Perfectly Plaid Embossed Christmas Card Pack

Hi everyone,

Today I want to show you a cute little 4" x 4"
embossed card. These could be made up into packs to sell at craft fairs.  I hope that you like them and will give them a try.

Materials

For each card:

1 piece of whisper white 4" x 8", scored in the middle to make a 4" card
1 piece of shaded spruce card stock 3 3/4" square
Scrap of gold foil for the starburst circle
Scrap of wrapped plaid dsp for the tree
Scrap of whisper white for the sentiment
5" of ribbon (this one is from my personal stash)
Perfectly Plaid stamp set
Shaded spruce ink
Starburst punch
Pine tree punch
Classic label punch
3D Tufted embossing folder
Die cutting machine
Dimensionals
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

Fold and burnish the card base.

Put the square of shaded spruce card stock in the embossing folder and run through the die cutting machine, then adhere the ribbon to it and glue to the front of the card base, leaving a small border all the way around.

Stamp a sentiment on the scrap of whisper white and one inside the card if required.  Punch out the sentiment for the front of the card with the classic label punch, add dimensionals and adhere to the card over the ribbon.

Punch a tree from the wrapped in plaid dsp and a circle from the gold foil, adhere the tree to the centre of the circle and then add to the front of the card with dimensionals.

Although it looks from the list that you need a lot of supplies, you only need a small amount of everything to make the card. It would be easy to get a pack of cards from a couple of sheets of whisper white, one shaded spruce and one wrapped in plaid with just a few scraps for the decoration.  Give it a go, its easy.

Happy crafting,

Karen XX
