Come Sail Away square card

Hi everyone,

Today I have a simple masculine card for you. I find it very hard to make masculine cards and am not really attracted to the usual type of male images and sentiments. So, I have combined the Come Sail Away designer series paper with sentiments from Around the Corner and A Big Thank You. I’ve swapped around the dsp too to show the two sides of one piece of paper. I hope you like them.

Materials

1 6 x 6 card blank or piece of card 6 x 12: scored in the middle
1 piece of dsp cut at 5 1/2” square
1 contrasting piece of dsp cut at 4” square
Scrap of white card for the sentiment
Stitched square dies
Die cutting machine
A Big Thank You stamp set
Around the Corner stamp set
Night of navy ink
Balmy blue ink
Dimensionals
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

Adhere the larger piece of dsp to the card front leaving a small border all the way around.

Adhere the smaller piece of dsp to the centre of this first layer.

Stamp your sentiment on the scrap of white card and cut out with one of the stitched square dies, add dimensionals to the back and adhere to the centre of the card.

Stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card and you are done. Easy. Now try it again and swap the dsp and the colours around for a different effect.

Happy crafting,

Karen xx
