Still on the Christmas theme, today I have made a smaller Z fold card using the beautiful wrapped in plaid designer series paper.
Materials
1 piece of cherry cobbler card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" scored at 1 7/8" and 4 1/8"
1 piece of contrasting dsp 1 5/8" x 5 3/4" (Wrapped in Plaid)
1 piece of dsp 2 1/4" x 5 3/4" and 2" x 5 3/4" (Wrapped in Plaid)
1 piece of whisper white card stock 2" x 5 3/4"
Pine tree punch
Hammered metal 3D embossing folder
Gold foil scrap for the tree
Scraps of cherry cobbler and whisper white for the sentiment squares
Cherry cobbler ink
Perfectly plaid stamp set
Stitched square dies
Die cutting machine
Instructions
Fold and burnish the card stock on the 4 1/8" scoreline and then fold the 1 7/8" score back to make the z shape.
Stamp a sentiment on the whisper white inside piece and then adhere it in place behind the fold.
Adhere the two dsp pieces that are the same pattern in place as shown in the finished card and add the contrasting one to the front flap.
Emboss a scrap of gold foil with the hammered embossing folder and then punch out with the pine tree punch.
Cut out two squares, the larger one in cherry cobbler to lie as a mat to the sentiment on the whisper white layer.
Stamp a sentiment on the whisper white layer and then layer then together with dimensionals and add them to the front flap of the card also with dimensionals. Add the tree below the sentiment and adhere with dimensionals.
There you go, another simple but effective Christmas card for you to try, please give it a try and i would love to see your pictures.
Happy crafting,
Karen XX
