So saffron ink
Layering squares dies
Die cutting machine

Instructions

Stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card, I have used early espresso ink and so saffron ink to stamp a few flowers on the inside for some added decoration.

Adhere the 5 1/2" mat to the front of the card and then lay the 5" piece in the centre of that layer leaving a border all around the edge.

Cut out the two squares with the layering square dies and then stamp a sentiment on the so saffron layer. Adhere the two together with dimensionals and then add them to the centre front of the card also with dimensionals.

A very quick and simple card which lets the dsp do the talking, give it a try.

Perfectly Plaid Gift Tags in Box

Hi Everyone,

Today I want to show you how to make some gift tags and I've made a little box to put them in so that you can give them away as gifts or you can sell them on your craft stalls.  I hope you like them and will give them a try.

Materials

1 piece of  cherry cobbler card stock 6" x 4", scored at 1/2" all the way around
1 piece of  cherry cobbler card stock 6 1/16" x 4 1/16", scored at 1/2" all the way around
6 x strips of thick whisper white 2" x 4"
Scrap of whisper white for the sentiment on the box
1 piece of Wrapped in Plaid dsp 2 7/8" x 4 7/8"
Scrap of gold foil to punch out the tree shape
Ribbon or bakers twine for the tags
Perfectly Plaid stamp set
Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set
Clear block
Cherry Cobbler ink
Scoreboard
Trimmer
Tag topper punch
Pine Tree punch
Detailed Trio punch
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

Fold and burnish the score lines on the large pieces of card stock and then cut tabs at each of the four corners to make a box. Remember, the lid is 1/16" bigger,, so when folded and glued, should easily fit over the base to close the box.

Decorate the lid with the piece of dsp and then punch out a gold foil tree and add to the centre of the box.

Take the 2" strips of whisper white and punch one end with the tag topper punch and round the corners of the other end with the detailed trio punch. If required, stamp the To/From image on one side of the tag using the cherry cobbler ink.

Stamp the tree image and the sentiment to the front of the tag and repeat on all 6 tags. Stamp a sentiment to add to the front of the box and adhere in place.

Thread a piece of ribbon or bakers twine through the hole at the top of the tag and place the tags inside the box.

Six, simple tags which will look lovely on your parcels on Christmas morning, give them a try.

Brightly Gleaming meets Perfectly Plaid

Hi Everyone,

This time I have combined two suites to bring you this card to show you the versatility of Stampin'Up products.  I have used the designer series paper from Brightly Gleaming with the sentiments and trees from Perfectly Plaid. I hope you agree, they make very pretty cards and I hope that you will give them a try.

Materials

1 piece of  whisper white card stock measuring 7" x 10" and folded in half to give a landscape tent fold card
1 piece of  Brightly Gleaming dsp 4 7/8" x 6 7/8"
Scraps of whisper white and copper foil for the embellishments and sentiments
Pine Tree Punch
Perfectly Plaid stamp set
Old olive ink
2 layering oval dies (mine are from my crafty stash)
Die cutting machine
Dimensionals
Clear blocks
Trimmer
Scoreboard
Bone folder
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

Fold and burnish your card stock to make the base.

Adhere the dsp to the front of the card leaving a tiny border all around the edge

Stamp two trees and two sentiments on your scrap of whisper white using old olive ink. Punch out the trees with the pine tree punch and cut out the sentiment using the smaller of the two oval dies. Then punch one tree from copper foil and cut out the larger oval in copper foil.

Stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card in old olive ink.

Arrange the trees on the card front, I have glued the stamped images and raised the foil one up on dimensionals.  Adhere the sentiment to the larger foil oval and then adhere to the front of the card using dimensionals.

Easy cards with a very effective look.  Here are pictures of other colour combinations that I have tried.
