True Beauty - Stamp Around UK Video Hop - Clean & Simple Theme

 Hi Everyone,

This month's theme for Stamp Around UK is 'Clean & Simple' and I have made a matching card and gift bag. I've used the True Beauty bundle and one of the Embossed Treat Bags and 2 of the current in-colours - Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party. There is a video tutorial link below so you can see how I made them.

Video Tutorial

Materials

1 piece of thick white card 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", 1 piece 4" x 5 3/4"
Scraps of basic white for stamping and die cuts
True Beauty stamp set
Organic Beauty dies
Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine
Tahitian Tide ink
Parakeet Party ink
Iridescent Pearls
1 Embossed Treat Bag
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Multipurpose Adhesive
Dimensionals
Alphabest Punch
Tahitian Tide Ribbon
Mini glue dots

Instructions

On the long side score the largest piece at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Using the Simply Scored, score 3 lines on each of the 4 sides at 1/4" intervals to make a frame. Turn over and use the side with the raised lines as the top.

Stamp a sentiment at the bottom of the inside frame (see picture).

Stamp 2 flowers and 2 sets of leaves on the scrap white card and then die cut.

Add the embossed layer to the card front using dimensionals and then add the flower in the centre of the embossed frame also using dimensionals. Add some iridescent pearls as shown in the picture.

I also stamped a sentiment on the inside and added two of the extra flowers that I had stamped and die cut.

Add a flower to the front of the treat bag using dimensionals to match the card.  Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of white and punch out with the Alphabest Punch and add to the side of the flower.  Tie a small bow and add with a mini glue dot.

Wonderful World Fun Fold Card - Stamp Around UK Video Hop - Layers and Texture

 Hi Everyone,

It's time for the Stamp Around UK Video Hop again and the theme this time is 'Layers and Texture'. I've used the Wonderful World dsp and stamp set because I think the images show lots of texture and depth, the artwork is amazing and makes it really easy to make a stunning card. I've also used some embossed card stock and a beautiful die cut image. Let me show you how I made it, there is a link to the video tutorial below.

Video Tutorial

Materials

1 piece of starry sky card stock 8 1/4" square
3 pieces of orchid oasis card stock 2 1/2" square, scrap for the sentiment
2 pieces of dsp 2 1/4" square
1 piece of basic white 5 1/4" square, scrap for the sentiment
1 die cut floral image from the dsp
Wonderful World stamp set
Pansy Patch stamp set
Orchid Oasis ink
Starry Sky ink
Fern 3D Embossing Folder
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Ruler
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Double Oval Punch
Paper snips

Instructions

Using the Simply Scored, score one side of the Starry Sky 8 1/4" square card at 2 3/4", turn 90 degrees to the left and score again at 2 3/4". With the square in the top left corner, mark the top of the card at 5 1/2" and again down the left side at 5 1/2".  Using a ruler, join the two marks together by scoring a diagonal line which should intersect where the two 2 3/4" score lines cross.

Burnish the score lines, fold the straight lines into valley folds and then carefully fold the diagonal line as a mountain fold. It should then fold up into the shape of the card, just ease it gently, it will fall into place.

Emboss one of the squares of orchid oasis with the Fern Embossing Folder and adhere to the top left square when the card is folded.  Adhere the remaining two plain squares to top right and bottom left as shown in the picture. Add the dsp squares to these two mats.

Fussy cut the floral image that you want to use and add to the embossed layer using dimensionals.

Position the white card so that you can see where to stamp your sentiment so that it can be seen in the bottom right section. Stamp the sentiment and add some floral images too and then adhere this piece in place.

Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of white card and punch out with the double oval punch with a layer in starry sky. Add this to the card front using dimensionals.

I do hope that you like this card, it was inspired by a fellow Demonstrator from USA but there are also examples on Pinterest that I have seen too.  This is how the card looks when it is displayed

Sending Smiles In Colours - Bookbinder Fun Fold Card - Stamp Around UK Video Hop

 Hi Everyone,

This month we are showcasing the 2022-2024 In Colours which are a lovely, bright set of colours and I love them all.

I've used the In Colour Designer Series Paper too and teamed it with the Sending Smiles stamp set and dies for a lovely, bright, cheerful card Bookbinder Fun Fold card. Let me show you how I made it, there is also a Video Tutorial over on my YouTube Channel, link below.

Video Tutorial

Materials

1 piece of starry sky card stock 4 1/8" x 11 1/2"
1 piece of dsp 4 1/2" x 3 7/8", 1 piece 4" x 3 3/8", 1 piece 3 7/8" x 3/4"
1 piece of basic white 4 1/2" x 3 7/8"
Scraps of white for stamping and die cutting
Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine
Sending Smiles stamp set
Sending dies
Tahitian Tide Glitter ribbon
Sweet Sorbet ink
Parakeet Party ink
Tahitian Tide ink
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Mini Glue Dots
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Take Your Pick Tool
Paper Snips

Instructions

On the long side score the card stock at 4 3/4" and 5 3/4" and fold and burnish. The 5 3/4" score is the half way fold line and the 4 3/4" piece is the book opening.

Adhere the strip of dsp to the 1" strip which forms the binding. Wrap the ribbon around this section and tie in a bow on the front, then adhere this 1" strip on the inside, this forms the spine (bind) of the book fold.

Adhere the two dsp layers to the card front.

Stamp the flower and smaller sentiment on the scrap card and then die cut. Die cut the word 'Sending' and it's shadow piece. Adhere these pieces to the card front on dimensionals.

Stamp a sentiment and another flower on the remaining piece of white for the inside of the card and adhere it in place.

I do hope that you like my card, click on the link above to watch the tutorial.
