New In-Colours - aren't they pretty? Parakeet Party, Sweet Sorbet, Orchard Oasis, Tahitian Tide and Starry Sky
This month I have been making cards to send out with the new Annual Catalogue to show off the new 2022-2024 In-Colours from Stampin' Up. I really love all 5 of them this year - that's not always the case as many of you will know (good riddance Cinnamon Cider haha!!). I am using the Flowing Flowers stamp set which is carrying over and the little butterfly from Sentimental Swirls, which sadly is not. I've used the In-Colour Designer Series Stack of papers which are lovely. Let me show you how I made them.
Materials
1 piece of coloured card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", 1 piece 3 1/4" x 4"
2 pieces of basic white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 3" x 3 3/4"
1 piece of dsp 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"
Ink to match the coloured card
Flowing Flowers stamp set
Sentimental Swirls stamp set
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Iridescent rhinestones
Instructions
On the long side score the card stock at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.
Adhere 1 piece of basic white to the card front and 1 to the inside.
Add the dsp layer to the card front.
Using ink to match the card stock and dsp, stamp a design on the smaller piece of basic white. I've gone mainly around the edge with a larger flower in the lower left hand corner. Stamp the sentiment and add a couple of butterflies.
Add the stamped layer to the remaining coloured card stock mat and add to the centre of the card front wing dimensionals.
Add some rhinestones for the butterfly body.
You can also stamp on the inside too but as I am sending these to customers, I wanted to write a personal note in each one.
I hope that you like these quick and easy cards and love the new In-Colours as much as I do.
Please pop over and see what everyone else has been up to this month, Victoria is up next.

Today I am hopping with the lovely Crafty Collaborations group and the theme is 'CASE a Friend'. Now strictly speaking, Sharon Armstrong isn't a friend in the 'ring up for a chat' way, but, she welcomes me into her Studio on a weekly basis to craft along with her or to watch while she shows me something new. The Stampin' Up community is worldwide and a very friendly place to be, so lots of Demonstrators seem like 'friends' to me.
Sharon hosts a 'Mystery Stamping' event every Monday and the card I have made today is from one of those sessions and I have added her YouTube link below if you would like to pop over and see what she does, you won't be disappointed. I have tweaked the measurements slightly as Sharon is in the US and their card sizes are different to UK.
1 piece of balmy blue card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 4 pieces 1 3/8" x 1 7/8", 1 piece 1 3/8" x 2 3/8"
1 piece of basic white card 3 5/8" x 5 3/8", 1 piece 1 1/4" x 2 1/4", scraps for stamping the flowers
4 pieces of dsp (Abstract Beauty) 1 1/4" x 1 3/4"
Flowing Flowers stamp set
Shaded Summer stamp set
Balmy Blue ink
Magenta Madness ink
Paper Snips
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Gilded Gems
Dimensionals
Multipurpose Adhesive
Instructions
On the long side score the thick card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.
Adhere the balmy blue mat to the card front and then add the white mat on top of that.
Adhere the 4 dsp layers to their mats and arrange on the card front as in the picture, also add the longer balmy blue mat for the sentiment.
Using the set of 3 small flowers, stamp off once and then stamp on the sentiment layer two or three times to completely cover it, then stamp over the top in magenta madness using the sentiment from the Shaded Summer stamp set and adhere in place.
On the scraps of white card, stamp the large flower once in magenta madness and once in balmy blue and then fussy cut them both. Add the blue one to the card first with dimensionals and then add the magenta madness one over the top as shown.
I've stamped the small flowers on the inside of the card using balmy blue.
Add some gilded gems and the card is complete.
Please pop over and see what everyone else has made and see if you can get some inspiration from people you may not have seen before.
