Double Z Fold Card

Hi Everyone,

Today I am showcasing one of the lovely new designer series papers which will be available from June 4th in the new Stampin'Up! catalogue.  Its called Mosaic Mood and it is beautiful, it is so unusual and looks just like mosaic tiles.  I've made a really simple double Z fold card and this time as well as the written instructions, there is a video tutorial to follow.  I hope that you enjoy it and have a go at making this pretty card yourself.

Materials

1 piece of card stock (I have used mint macaron) 11" x 4 1/4", scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2" on the long side
1 piece of card stock (same colour) 10" x 2 3/4", scored on the long side at 4 3/4" and 7 1/2"

2 different designer series papers (I have used Mosaic Mood which will be available from June 4th, there is also a picture at the end of this blog where I have made one using Share What You Love):

1. 1 piece 5 1/4" x 4", 2 pieces 2 1/2" x 4"
2. 1 piece 4 1/2" x 2 1/2", 1 piece 2 1/2" square, 1 piece 2 1/2" x 2 1/4"

1 piece of whisper white for you to write a message on the back 5" x 3 3/4"
Scraps of coloured card and whisper white for the sentiment
Scrap of ribbon
Glue dots
Adhesive
Dimensionals
Daisy Lane stamp set (available June 4th)
Mint Macaron ink pad
Starburst Punch
2" Circle Punch

Instructions

Fold and burnish the score lines on the card stock so that the card folds into a z shape.
Adhere the larger dsp pieces to the larger Z folded card piece.
Adhere the smaller dsp pieces to the smaller Z folded piece.
Glue the whisper white section to the back of the largest part of the Z
The smaller piece of card lays on top of the larger one, watch the video (link to the video is below the picture above) to see how to do this.
Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of whisper white and punch out with a 2" circle punch.
Punch out another circle in coloured card with the starburst punch.
Glue the smaller circle to the starburst circle and then mount them on the centre front of the card using dimensionals.
Make a small bow with a scrap of ribbon and attach to the front of the card with a glue dot.

Enjoy

Karen xx
