Hi, my name is Karen and I am an Independent Stampin' Up Demonstrator and I wanted to share this pretty little card with you. I love the colour and the pretty designer series paper which comes in over 50 colours so you can mix and match this design with any colour ink, cardstock and dsp because they all co-ordinate together. You could make a whole series in different colours. It's really easy and here is how you do it:
Materials:
- 1 sheet thick A4 whisper white
- 1 piece in colour DSP in melon mambo (2" x 5")
- 1 piece melon mambo card stock (5 1/2" x 3 7/8")
- Melon mambo ink pad
- Daisy delight stamp set
- Daisy Punch
- Adhesive
- Bone Folder
- Stampin' Dimensionals
- Trimmer
- Pierce mat
- Faceted gem
- Glue dots
- Scraps whisper white, melon mambo and DSP for the sentiments
Instructions:
1. Cut A4 whisper white at 4 1/8" x 11 3/4" and score at 5 7/8", fold and burnish to make fcard base.2. Adhere melon mambo card stock to card base leaving a small increment around the edge.
3. Adhere DSP to left hand side of melon mambo card leaving small increment.
4. Stamp 2 daisies with melon mambo ink on a piece of scrap whisper white and punch out.
5. Glue the two daisies together as shown below.
6. Using a bone folder, curl the petals from underneath to give the flower depth. Place the flower on a piercing mat and using the end on a pencil or stylus, push down in the centre of the flower.
7. Using glue dots, adhere the daisy to the centre of the card.
8. Stamp your sentiments on a scrap of whisper white and mount the Thank You on your melon mambo scrap and for your kindness on the DSP as shown below
9. Add dimensionals to the back of both of the sentiments and arrange on the card.
10. Add a faceted gem to the centre of the daisy.
I hope you like my little card and will give it a try.
Happy Stamping
Karen xx
