Prized Peony Triple Layer Stamping

 Hi Everyone,

A few weeks ago I made a card for  Share it on a Sunday using this technique, I liked  it so much I thought I would give it another try using a different stamp set and colours. This time I have used seaside spray, night of navy and pear pizzazz. The original inspiration for the layout comes from a card I saw Sharon Armstrong (TX Stampin' Sharon) make.

Materials

1 piece of seaside spray card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of night of navy card stock 4" x 5 3/4", 1 piece 3" square, 1 piece 3" x 1 1/2"
1 piece of whisper white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 3 3/4" x 5 1/2", 1 piece 2 3/4" square and 1 piece 2 3/4" x 1 1/4"
Seaside spray ink
Night of navy ink
Pear pizzazz ink
Prized Peony stamp set
Multipurpose adhesive
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone folder
Mini glue dots

Instructions

Score the seaside spray card stock at 4 1/8" on the long side and then fold and burnish to make the card base.

Arrange the 3 smaller whisper white layers on top of each other in a way that you like, it doesn't have to match the layout I have done. Add a glue dot to the back of the two smaller pieces but rub your fingers over the glue dot to reduce the stickiness a bit.

When you are happy with it, start to stamp your design, I stamped the sentiment first using night of navy.  I used the seaside spray for the largest floral image and stamped it 3 times around the layers.  I then stamped it on a post it note and cut around it so I could use this as a mask.

I covered the large flower with the mask and then stamped the smaller images around it, moving the mask from one large floral image to another to complete my design.  I stamped the smaller flowers in night of navy and for the leaves I used pear pizzazz.

Then adhere each whisper white layer to its corresponding night of navy mat.

I have glued the largest layer to the card base and then popped the other two pieces on to dimensionals. When you position them, make sure that the mat layer is in the right place and covers up the straight edges and stamped of bits on the layer below.

Add the remaining whisper white layer to the inside of the card.  I hope that you like my card and will give it a try.
