Paper Blooms Post it Note Holder

 Hi Everyone,

Today I have made a post it note holder using some of the lovely Sale-a-bration free designer series paper as part of a Blog Hop so you may have arrived at my page from   Jenn   , if so welcome. If you are one of my regular followers, you are also very welcome, I'm looking forward to sharing lots of projects with you this year.  It's quick and easy to make and I make lots of these for craft fairs and they sell really well.  Lets hope that in 2021, I will be able to return to my fairs I really missed them last year. They take only a small amount of dsp so great for scrap busting and you can get 2 from one sheet of card stock.  Let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of seaside spray card stock 7 3/4" x 4 1/8" and a scrap for the sentiment mat and butterflies
A scrap of  whisper white for the sentiment
1 piece of dsp 1 3/8" x 4", 1 piece 2 3/8" x 4" and 1 piece 2 7/8" x 4" (make sure that the pattern runs correctly if using a directional one)
Night of navy ink
Basic jewels
Butterfly duet punch
Double oval punch
Butterfly gala stamp set
Rectangular post it pad (approx 3 x 4)(available online or from stationery shops etc)
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Velcro dot (available online or from craft shops)

Instructions

On the long side score the seaside spray card at 1 1/2", 1 7/8", 4 7/8" and 5 1/4", fold and burnish all the score lines.

Adhere the dsp to each section, making sure that if you have a directional pattern that it runs correctly.

Adhere the post it pad to the inside of the holder, leaving a tiny border all around it.

Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of whisper white and then punch it out with the Double Oval Punch and punch the scalloped layer out of the scrap of seaside spray, layer the two together and adhere to the top flap of the holder.

Add a velcro dot in the middle between the top and bottom layers so that the holder stays closed when not in use.

Punch out two small butterflies with the Butterfly Duet Punch, bend up the wings and then adhere them to the front cover.  Add a few rhinestones for some bling and its done.
