Kylies International Blog Highlights January 2021- Forever Fern Easel Card

 Hi Everyone,

Today I am taking part in Kylie Bertucci's International Gallery and the theme is 'Thank You'. I decided to go back to an old favourite from the annual catalogue and I have used the gorgeous Forever Fern designer series paper and teamed it with the Ornate Thanks stamp set. Let me show you how I made it.

Please pop over to the gallery to vote for my project, if I can get into the top ten I get to take part in Kylie's International Blog Hop at the end of the month. Thank you xx

Instructions

On the long side, score the night of navy card at 2 1/2" and 5", fold and burnish to make the card base (both mountain folds) so that one half forms a triangle on top of the base.

Adhere the largest piece of dsp to the base of the card and then the two matching strips to either side of the front fold.

Adhere the whisper white strip to the inside of the top folded section to write your message.

Adhere the contrasting dsp to the remaining piece of night of navy card.  Add glue to the bottom half of this piece and then mount it on the front section of the folded half of the card.

Punch out two scalloped ovals in night of navy and two plain ones in whisper white. Stamp the two sentiments on your whisper white ovals using the night of navy ink. I've also stamped the tiny flowers at either side of the sentiments.

Add the whisper white layer to the night of navy using glue and then add dimensionals and mount one on the front of the card and one in the centre of the base, this one acts as the stopper for the card and makes the front stand up.

make a tiny bow with a piece of the white twine and add to the bottom of the sentiment label with a mini glue dot.  Add some rhinestones for a bit of bling.

This is a really simple card, I hope that you like it and will give it a try.
