Fun Fold Friday #47 - Ice Cream Corner Fun Fold Card

 Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Fun Fold Friday Series and this week I have made a card with a decorated fold over panel but i don't know what it is called, so today it's just a 'Fun Fold' and I am using the fun new designer series paper from the Mini Catalogue which is called 'Ice Cream Corner' and the Many Mates stamp set. There is a video tutorial over on my YouTube channel, click on the link below:

Instructions

Score the large piece of bermuda bay card at 4 1/8" on the long side and fold and burnish to make the card base.  Score the 1" strip in the middle and fold and burnish.

Add adhesive to the back of one half of the 1" folded strip and fix in place on the inside of the card with the join to the outer edge so that the other half will fold over the front of the card. This is what the decorated panel will fix to.

Die cut the stitched scalloped rectangles and fussy cut a few of the ice cream and lolly images for the decoration.

Stamp the sentiment on the whisper white rectangle about 1/3 of the way down from the top.  Stamp the stars from the Oval Occasions stamp set above the sentiment. You can colour in the image with blends if you like but I like it left as it stamps.  Stamp another sentiment and set of stars on the whisper white layer for the inside of the card.

Adhere the whisper white layer to the inside of the card covering the strip that you have attached.

Adhere the dsp layer to the card front.

Adhere the whisper white rectangle to the centre of the bermuda bay rectangle.  Add glue to the strip which is overhanging the font of the card and then place the stitched panels on top of it so that they sit centrally on the card. By adding the glue to the strip you are less likely to get any on the dsp.

Arrange the fussy cut ice creams to the panel using dimensionals and there you are, a quick and easy fun card.  I hope that you like it.
