Ice Cream Corner Birthday Card - Share it on a Sunday

 Hi Everyone,

This week, Donna and Victoria and myself are all making projects using the same designer series paper - Ice Cream Corner - it's very bright and full of colourful patterns and sweet tasting goodies. Let me show you how I made my card.

Materials

1 piece of bermuda bay card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", 1 piece 1 3/4" x 5 1/2", 1 x 2 1/4" circle
1 piece of whisper white (basic white) card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and 1 x 2" circle
1 piece of dsp 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and a contrasting piece 1 5/8" x 5 3/8" , scraps for fussy cutting
Oval Occasions stamp set
Bermuda bay ink
Paper  snips
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
2" circle punch
2 1/4" circle punch

Instructions

On the long side score the bermuda bay card stock at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Adhere the large piece of dsp to the card front.

Adhere the small piece of dsp to the strip of bermuda bay leaving a small border around the edges and then add to the left hand side of the card front with dimensionals.

Punch out a 2 1/4" circle from the bermuda bay card and a 2" one from the white.  Stamp a sentiment on the white and layer the two together. Add to the centre right of the card front using dimensionals on the centre and right of the circle only as it will overlap the section that is already on dimensionals. Add a fussy cut ice lolly and pop it on dimensionals.

Stamp a sentiment on the whisper white layer and decorate, I've also added an ice cream that I fussy cut from the scraps and adhere to the inside of the card.

I hope that you like my card and will give it a try.  Please pop over and see what Donna and Victoria have made too:
