Today's card is one I made for a challenge that I didn't really want to do! I don't do 'messy' crafting so I had avoided it but my crafty friend Victoria challenged me to have a go, so I did. It's not really that messy at all!! Thanks Victoria xx
Materials
1 card base 4" x 6" (I have used a pre scored card base, I'm trying to use up my stash)
Scrap of Magnolia Lane dsp
Scraps of old olive and whisper white card stock for the scalloped rectangle layers
Stitched so sweetly dies
Old Olive ink
Beauty Abounds stamp set
Beauty Abounds stamp set
Selection of rubber bands
Clear block (size D)
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Instructions
Wrap some rubber bands around a clear stamping block (I've used a D block) to make a pattern. When you are happy with it, press it onto your ink pad and then random stamp all over the card front to make a background. There is no right or wrong, just stamp until you are happy with the effect. Snip through the rubber bands (over the waste bin haha, ask me how I know??) to get them off the block and then just clean off the block as normal.
Die cut the scalloped rectangles, 2 from the old olive, 1 from the dsp and 1 from whisper white.
Stamp the sentiment in old olive ink on the whisper white sentiment.
Add the sentiment to the old olive mat with adhesive, then add the dsp layer to the larger mat, also with adhesive. Add the larger layers to the card front using dimensionals and then add the smaller layers in the centre of the dsp layer, also with dimensionals.
Quick and easy card using a different type of technique, give it a try.

It's good to get messy occasionally Karen lol. Well done for facing the challenge and for winning it too - a brilliant card. I haven't seen the elastic band round a stamping block before so I learnt something new today. Stay well and stay safe xx
