Wonderful World - Crafty Collaborations Crafty Challenge - Sketch Challenge

 Hi Everyone,

The challenge this month is a Sketch Challenge, one of my favourites. I wanted to have one last play with the Wonderful World bundle before the end of Sale-a-Bration, I'm so sad to say goodbye to this set, it is fabulous and I've really enjoyed creating with it.  I've combined it with sentiments from True Beauty for a really pretty card.

Materials

1 piece of thick basic white 5 3/4" x 11 1/2"
1 piece of dsp 5 5/8" square, 4 pieces 1 1/2" x 5", 1 piece 1" x 5 5/8", scrap for the heart
Scrap of basic white for the heart
Sequins and Gems
Heart Punch Pack
Melon Mambo ink
Blackberry Bliss ink
True Beauty stamp set
Wonderful World bundle
Multipurpose adhesive
Mini Dimensionals
Trimmer
Bone Folder

Instructions

On the long side score the card at 5 3/4" and fold and burnish to make a square card.

Adhere the largest piece of dsp and then arrange the 4 strips as per the sketch above. I picked 4 of the floral image sheets, all in a different colour. Add the 1" strip across the card front, I've added mini dimensionals at each end and added glue in the centre where it goes over the strips.

Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of white and add a sentiment and a flower on the inside of the card. Punch out the sentiment with the straight sided heart and then punch out a scalloped one in dsp. Layer the two together and add with dimensionals over the strip as shown.  Sprinkle a few sequins and the card is complete.

Please pop over and see what everyone else has made for this sketch challenge, you are sure to be inspired.

Wonderful World Pop Out Z Fold Card - InspireINK Blog Hop

 Hi Everyone,

The theme for this month's hop is a Tic Tac Toe board, I love these for getting your crafty mojo going and giving you inspiration. The board was chosen by Team Mate Lisa Emslie. You have to choose three items in any line up, down or diagonal and I have chosen Thank You, Patterned Paper and Floral for my fun fold card and used Wonderful World and Colour and Contour stamp sets. Let me show you how I made it:

Materials

1 piece of starry sky card stock 10" X 7"
3 pieces orchid oasis card stock 2 1/4" x 6 3/4", 4 pieces 2 1/4" square, 2 pieces 2 1/4" x 1 3/4"
2 pieces of dsp 2" x 6 1/2", 4 pieces 2" x 2", 1 piece 2" x 1 1/2"
1 piece of basic white card stock 2" x 6 1/2", 1 piece 2" x 1/2"
Wonderful World stamp set
Colour & Contour stamp set
Starry Sky ink
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Multipurpose adhesive
Brushed Brass Butterflies

Instructions

On the long side score the starry sky card at 2 1/2", 5" and 7 1/2".

Cut along the 7" side at 2 1/2" and 4 1/2" between the first and last score lines, then fold and burnish the score lines (see picture).

Add the mats and layers to all sections (I chose to cut some of the small flowers from one of the sheets of dsp for my inside sections).

Stamp a sentiment on the small piece of white card and add to the last panel on the front.  Stamp some flowers on the large piece of white and add to the back to write your message.

Sprinkle some butterflies and job done.

Please pop over and see what everyone else has been up to this month, I wonder which lines they chose?

Wonderful World Pop Out Gatefold Card - Fun Fold Friday

 Hi Everyone,

For this week's Fun Fold Friday I have made a Pop Out Gatefold using the fabulous Wonderful World bundle which is FREE during Sale-a-Bration with a £90 order. You will need to be quick though if you wat your own, the offers finish at the end of August 2022.

I have made a video tutorial for this card, click the link below:

Video Tutorial

Materials

1 piece of mossy meadow card 10" x 7", 1 piece 1" x 6", 1 piece 1" x 3", 1 piece 3 1/4" square, 1 piece 3" square, 1 piece 1 " by 8 1/4" to use as belly band
8 pieces of basic white card 2 1/4" x 6 3/4", 1 piece 2 3/4" square, 1 piece 3" square
6 pieces of dsp 2" x 6 1/2"
Melon mambo ink
Wonderful World stamp set
True Beauty stamp set
Brushed Brass Butterflies
Iridescent Rhinestones
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Take Your Pick Tool

Instructions

On the long side, score the largest piece of mossy meadow at 2 1/2", 5" and 7 1/2" (Only burnish the two out score lines, just gently fold the centre one). Score the 1" x 6" piece at 1/2" and 5 1/2" and the 3" piece at 1/2", 1", 2" and 2 1/2", fold and burnish all of these score lines.

Add all the mats and layers to the panels, I've added two white panel either side of the centre score on the back to write your message.

BEFORE you add the two centre ones on the inside of the card, take the 6" x 1" piece and fold under the two 1/2" sections at the end, add glue and attach across the centre of the card in between the folds at 2 1/2" and 7 1/2" to form a bendy, section across the middle of the card to add your decoration to.  Then add the two centre panels of dsp under the band but over the piece that is stuck to the card to hide it.

I forgot to do this on the video, so you can see the hinge pieces on my card.

Take the 3" piece of card and fold from one end in valley, mountain, mountain, valley, add glue to the underside of this and adhere to the band going across the card in the centre, either side of the 5" score line.  This is what will hold the decoration in place in the centre of the card and 'pop out' when displayed.

Stamp a flower and sentiment on the 2 3/4" square piece of white, adhere to the mossy meadow layer and add to the pop out section in the centre of the card.

Stamp a sentiment and flowers on the remaining piece of white (because I had issues with my stamping in the video, I've turned this into a diamond shape on the front of the card but you could leave it square, or die cut circles or whatever shape you want).  Adhere this to the mossy meadow mat layer.

Close up the card and gently wrap the belly band piece around the card and glue the ends.  Add the topper in place using dimensionals across the belly band and then add to the card.

Add some butterflies and rhinestones as required.

I do hope that you like my card and will give it a try.  Please pop over and see what Donna and Victoria have made this week too.
