Instructions

Colour the two pieces of dsp with Stampin' Blends and then adhere them to the orchid oasis mat layers.  Add the card mat to the card front and add the other one, at an angle to the front of the treat bag.

Die cut the second smallest tag in each of the four colours.  Stamp a sentiment on the daffodil delight one and the white one.

Tie the white one with a double bow using the twine and add to the card front as in the picture.  Fussy cut a small flower and colour it in with blends and add to the corner of the tag underneath the bow.

Arrange the three coloured tags together as in the picture and add a dab of glue to each to join them together at the top end. Add a double bow using the twine and adhere to the front of the treat bag as in the picture.

Sprinkle both the card and the bag with some rhinestones and you're finished.

True Beauty - Stamp Around UK Video Hop - Clean & Simple Theme

 Hi Everyone,

This month's theme for Stamp Around UK is 'Clean & Simple' and I have made a matching card and gift bag. I've used the True Beauty bundle and one of the Embossed Treat Bags and 2 of the current in-colours - Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party. There is a video tutorial link below so you can see how I made them.

Video Tutorial

Materials

1 piece of thick white card 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", 1 piece 4" x 5 3/4"
Scraps of basic white for stamping and die cuts
True Beauty stamp set
Organic Beauty dies
Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine
Tahitian Tide ink
Parakeet Party ink
Iridescent Pearls
1 Embossed Treat Bag
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Multipurpose Adhesive
Dimensionals
Alphabest Punch
Tahitian Tide Ribbon
Mini glue dots

Instructions

On the long side score the largest piece at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Using the Simply Scored, score 3 lines on each of the 4 sides at 1/4" intervals to make a frame. Turn over and use the side with the raised lines as the top.

Stamp a sentiment at the bottom of the inside frame (see picture).

Stamp 2 flowers and 2 sets of leaves on the scrap white card and then die cut.

Add the embossed layer to the card front using dimensionals and then add the flower in the centre of the embossed frame also using dimensionals. Add some iridescent pearls as shown in the picture.

I also stamped a sentiment on the inside and added two of the extra flowers that I had stamped and die cut.

Add a flower to the front of the treat bag using dimensionals to match the card.  Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of white and punch out with the Alphabest Punch and add to the side of the flower.  Tie a small bow and add with a mini glue dot.

Decorated Embossed Treat Bag - 3D Thursday

 Hi Everyone,

A very quick project for you today. I just got my latest order and when I get a new stamp set and dies, I always stamp and die cut them all out to see what they look like. I also got some of these cute embossed treat bags so I thought I would put the die cuts to use and decorate a bag for a quick gift for a friend.

Materials

1 Embossed Treat Bag
1 sheet of basic white card stock
Polished Pink ink
Pear Pizzazz ink
True Beauty stamp set
Organic Beauty dies
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Adhesive Backed Sequins & Gems
Polished Pink ribbon
Distressed Gold Foil
Best Label Punch
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Mini Glue Dots

Instructions

I stamped all of the stamps from the True Beauty stamp set and then cut them out with the Organic Beauty dies. I also cut a couple of the pieces in the distressed gold foil for some contrast.

The bags come folded flat and you just have to open them out, really easy, no folding and sticking required.

Then I arranged the flowers and leaves on the front of the bag using dimensionals for all except the gold piece which I glued down.

I punched out the tiny sentiment with the Best Label punch and added that tucked behind the flower and then added just one sequin.

Tie a bow with the ribbon and add to the top of the bag with mini glue dots and the bag is finished.

I think that these bags are going to be really useful for all sorts of occasions, you can decorate them quite simply as I have done, or really go mad with lots of flowers and embellishments and ribbons for a special occasion. They will be a great addition to use at Christmas time too, I can see me using these a lot.

I hope that you like my little bag and will try some of your own.  Please pop over and see what Donna and Victoria have made too.
