Playing in the Rain Fun Fold Card

Hi Everyone,

Today I have made a fun fold to show off. the Rain or Shine Suite, the animals are so cute and the dsp is cheery and fun. I've teamed it with Balmy Blue and the Stylish Shapes dies, let me show you how easy it is.

Materials

1 piece of balmy blue card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scraps for the circle, sentiment and the tab

1 piece of basic white card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", scrap for the sentiment

1 piece of dsp 2 7/8" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 1 1/4" x 5 5/8", scrap to die cut image

Instructions

On the long side, score the blue card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish, then trim off 1" from the front.

Trim the 1" strip you have removed to 3 1/2" and score at 1" and fold and burnish. Adhere the 1" portion of this tab to the outside edge of the card so that it will flap over the card front when closed.

Stamp a sentiment on the white card and adhere to the inside of the card, add the dsp strip along the right hand edge so that it is level with 3 sides of the white card.

Adhere the remaining dsp to the card front.

Die cut the largest circle in balmy blue and the next size down using dsp, centre the image you want on the front of the card. You could die cut this in white and stamp and colour the image if you prefer. Adhere the two layers together and then adhere to the tab as shown in the photo.

Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of white and then add it to a scrap of balmy blue with a tiny border. Add this to the card front using dimensionals.
