Sending Smiles Centre Panel Card - Fun Fold Friday

 Hi Everyone,

This time I have made a Centre Panel card using the Sending Smiles Bundle and the Neutrals DSP Stack in Merry Merlot (not a colour I use a lot).  This is a really easy fun fold that you can dress up or down as the occasion demands. I've used it in the past for birthdays, weddings, Christmas and in all sorts of dsp and colours with lots of different stamp sets and it always looks great and fold flat for posting too. Let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of merry merlot card 5 7/8" x 11", scrap for the sentiment
2 pieces of basic white card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 4 pieces 1 5/8" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 4" x 3" and scraps for die cutting
1 piece of dsp 3 5/8" x 5 3/8", 4 pieces 1 3/8" x 5 3/8"
Sending Smiles stamp set
Sending Dies
Scalloped Contour Dies
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Merry Merlot ink
Melon Mambo ink
Pear Pizzazz ink
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Basic Rhinestones

Instructions

On the long side score the thick white card at 1 3/4" and 3 1/2" and then flip the card round to the other side and repeat the scores at 1 3/4" and 3 1/2", fold and burnish to score lines to make the card base.

Add the dsp layers to the mats and then to the card base.

Stamp a sentiment and some flowers on the remaining white mat for the back of the card to write your message.

Die cut a scalloped rectangle (I used the middle one of the five) and the sentiment shadow in white and then the word in merry merlot.

Stamp two flowers on some scrap and then die cut just the flower heads.  Stamp the leaves onto the scalloped rectangle and then add the die cut flowers with dimensionals.

Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of white and then die cut with the appropriate size label die from the Sending Dies.

Add the scalloped rectangle to the centre of the large front panel, towards the top and add the word 'Sending' at an angle using dimensionals across it. Then add the rest of the sentiment below, also using dimensionals.

Add some rhinestones and the card is complete.

Please pop over and see what Donna and Victoria have made too.
