Gold & White Poinsettia Christmas Card

 Hi Everyone,

Today I have gone all white and gold for this pretty Christmas card using the Poinsettia dies and some background scoring. Let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of thick basic white card 5 3/4" x 11 1/2"
1 piece of basic white card 5 1/2" square
Scraps of basic white for die cuts and sentiment
Scraps of gold foil for die cuts and sentiment label
Versamark ink
Metallics Embossing Powder
Heat Tool
Poinsettia Petals stamp set
Poinsettia dies
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Dimensionals or foam tape
Multipurpose adhesive
Mini glue dots

Instructions

On the long side score the thick card at 5 3/4" and fold and burnish to make a square card base.

Using Versamark ink, stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card and one on a scrap for the card front.  Sprinkle with gold embossing powder and set with the Heat Tool.  Adhere the white label to the scrap of gold foil for the sentiment label.

Put the basic white card on your scoreboard and score at 2 3/4", then score at 1/8" intervals to the right and left of that line, I've done 10 in total but you can do as many or as few as you want.  Raise this piece up on either dimensionals or foam tape and adhere to the card front.

Die cut one of each of the three sets of petals in basic white and 3-4 holly leaves and sprigs in gold foil as well as 1 flower centre.

Curl the petals with a bone folder and then layer up the layers, I've used multipurpose adhesive for this.  Add the gold foil centre with a glue dot.  Add to the card front using dimensionals.  Tuck in the leaves and sprigs around the flower.

Add the sentiment on dimensionals underneath the flower and the card is complete.
