Gilded Autumn Sketch Challenge

 Hi Everyone,

Those of you who follow me will know that I regularly show you projects that are challenges.  Sometimes it's colours, sometimes a particular product and sometimes it's a sketch.  I do lots of challenges with two of my crafty friends - Taffycrafting (Donna Lester) and Vickieloudesigns (Victoria Littlewood) and we have a regular weekly one called Share it on a Sunday. Well, now Donna has challenged us to do some sketch challenges over the next few weeks to keep our creative mojo going and I'm going to use them as a chance to show you new products as well as some old favourites that I haven't used for a while.  So, here goes with my Challenge 27 of #33, I hope that you like it.

Materials

1 piece of mint macaron card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of very vanilla 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and 1 piece 1 3/4" x 2 1/4"
1 piece of copper foil 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and 2 pieces 2" x 2 1/2" and a scrap for leaves
1 piece of Gilded Autumn dsp 3 3/4" x 3 1/4", 1 piece 3 3/4" x 1 1/2" and 1 piece 1 3/4" x 2 1/4"
Forever Fern stamp set
Forever Flourishing dies
Cut and Emboss machine
Early espresso ink
Mint macaron ink

Instructions

Score the mint macaron card at 4 1/8" on the long side and fold burnish to make the card base.

Arrange the two largest dsp pieces on the copper foil mat, butting them up to each other in the centre of the card and leaving a border around the outer edges and adhere to the card front.

Die cut some leaves from the Forever Flourishing dies in copper foil.

Add the smallest piece of dsp to one of the copper mats and adhere to the card front at an angle as in the sketch.

Stamp a sentiment in early espresso on the other piece and then I have added a few background splashes in mint macaron to give it some texture.  Stamp on the whisper white layer for the inside of the card if required and then adhere inside the card.

Add the sentiment layer at an angle across the other rectangle as shown with dimensionals and then tuck the leaves in and fix with glue.

Another simple sketch challenge that will look completely different depending on the stamp sets and dsp that you use, give it a try, its fun.
